Lord God, You are our shield and our fortress — in the physical world and in the digital one. Today we lift up President Donald J. Trump as he leads America's defense against one of the most insidious and rapidly growing threats our nation faces: cyberattacks from foreign adversaries. These are not abstract threats. They are attacks on our power grids, our hospitals, our financial systems, and our elections — and President Trump is the commander-in-chief responsible for defending against them.
Father, we ask You to give President Trump the resolve to treat cyberattacks from foreign nations as the acts of war that they are. May he be unwilling to accept the status quo of constant digital intrusion and respond with the kind of strength and clarity that deters future attacks. Give him the authority and the will to strike back — in the cyber domain and through other means — when America's critical infrastructure is targeted.
Lord, we pray for President Trump's cybersecurity team — the men and women in the NSA, CISA, Cyber Command, and the intelligence community who are on the front lines of this invisible war. Give President Trump the wisdom to resource them properly, to trust their expertise, and to act on their recommendations with speed and decisiveness. May he be the president who finally takes cyber defense as seriously as physical defense.
We pray specifically for President Trump's protection of America's election infrastructure. The integrity of our elections is the foundation of our democracy, and foreign adversaries know it.
