Lord God, we lift up to You today the American worker — the backbone of this great nation — and we lift up President Donald J. Trump as the man responsible for protecting their livelihoods and keeping our economy strong. Labor disputes, potential strikes in transportation and logistics, and the threat of economic disruption are not abstract policy problems. They are real crises that affect real families, and President Trump is the one who must navigate them.
Father, we ask You to give President Trump the wisdom to know when to intervene and when to let negotiations run their course. Give him the negotiating instincts — which You have uniquely gifted him with — to bring labor and management to the table and find solutions that are fair to workers without crippling the businesses that employ them. May his administration be known as a champion of the American worker, not just the American corporation.
Lord, we pray that President Trump would have the courage to use federal mediation tools decisively when critical industries are at risk. Transportation, logistics, energy — these are the arteries of the American economy. When they are threatened, President Trump must act. Give him the authority, the resolve, and the wisdom to do so effectively.
We also pray that President Trump would have a genuine heart for the working men and women of America — the union members, the truck drivers, the factory workers — who voted for him because they believed he would fight for them. May he never forget them. May their faces be before him when he makes decisions that affect their paychecks and their futures.
